Oklahoma City Thunder Shoes

We love hoop shoes here at WearTesters, and OKC has been the most dominant team of the 2024-25 season and playoffs, so, of course, we had to go over all the Oklahoma City Thunder shoes worn during the 2025 NBA Playoffs.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have had an awe-inspiring regular season. OKC racked up 68 wins, which earned them the number 1 spot in the West, and they ended up with the best record in the NBA. Aside from that, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren all had their best individual seasons to date, and in general, the Thunder just felt like the most talented and exciting team in the NBA.

Once the playoffs rolled around, OKC maintained their impressive play, reaching the Western Conference finals, eliminating the Grizzlies, and Nikola Jokić’s Nuggets on their way, and all signs seem to indicate that SGA will take home this year’s MVP trophy.

If you were curious about what basketball shoes your favorite OKC player was wearing during the 2025 playoffs, you’re in the right place. We’re going to break down the go-to shoes of OKC’s best players, all of which will be linked to the full shoe reviews we’ve already done here at WearTesters. So, let’s get into it.

Oklahoma City Thunder Shoes 2025

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Converse Shai 1

Shai debuted his first signature during 2025’s All-Star Weekend, the Converse Shai 001. Keeping in mind we have not completed our extensive on-court performance testing process, we can say that the Shai 001 looks great and feels very nice in hand. The shoe features many of the same performance features as its predecessor, the Converse Trilliant CX, but also features several key performance upgrades. The Trilliant CX was a decent performance model, so if the Shai 001 turns out to be an improved version of that shoe, we should have a great, visually striking guard shoe. We’ll keep our fingers crossed until we get our pairs in for testing.. Read the full review. Price: $130

Jalen Williams: adidas Harden Vol. 9

The Adidas Harden Vol 9 is a refined evolution of its predecessors, building upon the line’s strengths while addressing minor shortcomings. Its standout features include reliable traction, plush cushioning, and excellent support. It’s a versatile option for guards and agile players who prioritize responsiveness, comfort, and support. While it may not be the best choice for outdoor basketball, it will excel on indoor courts, making it a worthy addition to any hooper’s rotation. Read full review. Price $160

Chet Holmgren: KD 18

The Nike KD 18 is a solid but safe follow-up to the KD 17. By reusing the same tooling, Nike has delivered a familiar experience, which will be great for those who loved the previous model. If you’re looking for a reliable, well-cushioned basketball shoe with great traction, the Nike KD 18 is still a top-tier option. The KD 18 remains one of the best-performing basketball shoes available today. Read the full reviewPrice: $150

Isaiah Hartenstein: Nike KD 17

To keep things short and sweet, the Nike KD 17 is basically the same shoe as the Nike KD 16. If you like that shoe, you’re going to enjoy this one. The Nike KD 17 is a top-tier and super versatile performance basketball shoe that will work well for almost every playing style and position on the floor. The KD 17 also gets extra points for being a “better than average” outdoor option, especially if you can find an XDR version. Read the full review.

The Jordan One Take 4 was Russell Westbrook’s signature take-down model from 2023, and his last signature or semi-signature shoe with Jordan Brand. The Jordan One Take 4 is a very solid budget model, built for fast, agile guard-style players. The best feature of the shoe is by far the traction, which performs great on court and is also durable enough to handle the blacktop easily. Material quality isn’t great, but it is also a Jordan budget model. Price $90

Cason Wallace: Nike GT Cut 3

The Nike GT Cut 3 is a fun low-top basketball shoe. It’s bouncy, agile, and just one of those models that makes you want to sprint up and down the court as soon as you lace it up. The Zoom X does not disappoint, and Nike has done an outstanding job of implementing it into a basketball shoe. It’s soft and squishy, but by no means feels unstable or slow on court, and it might just be the best GT Cut model to date. Read the full review. Price: $190

Aaron Wiggins: Curry 3Z 24

Aaron Wiggins’ go to shoe this post season has been the Curry 3Z 24, a take-down model of the main Curry line. This shoe features a solid rubber outsole with a radial traction pattern, a full-length slab of Micro G foam and retails for just $85.
